Mario Romero served five years as an active-duty Marine with three tours in Iraq. Upon completing his military service, Mario began work at Military Outreach Ministry at Camp Pendleton, where he had the honor of serving active-duty military families. In 2019, Mario completed his master’s in divinity at Bethel University in San Diego, CA. He moved with his family to Caldwell, Idaho and began serving as the Connections Pastor for a local church. In addition to his pastor role, Mario also facilitated classes for men in a domestic violence batterer intervention program. In 2024, Mario and his wife planted a micro church community called United Church. Mario continues to serve as the lead pastor of United Church, as well as serving as a hospice chaplain. His dedication to his community is evident in all he does.
